What’s in the Box

Your Comfortel e Lift™ will arrive in two boxes and includes everything required for installation.

Box 1

1. e-Lift™ Column & Control Unit
2. Foot Control
3. Hex Key / Allen Key
4. 4 x Mounting Screws
5. Power Supply & Power Cable

Box 2
6. e-Lift™ Base

Before assembly, check that all components are present and free from damage. If anything is missing or damaged, please contact Comfortel before installation.


Assembly: e Lift™

  • Place the e-Lift™ upside down on the packaging carton insert.
  • Align the Base with the mounting holes. Ensure the Comfortel logo of the e-Lift aligns with the foot control opening in the base as pictured.
  • Insert the four mounting screws.
  • Tighten all screws using the Hex Key / Allen Key.
  • Carefully turn the e Lift™ upright.

Important: Ensure all four mounting screws are fully tightened before use.


Assembly: Chair to Base

  • Lower the salon chair top onto the e Lift™.
  • Sit on the chair to ensure it is fully in place and secure.
  • Clip the foot control securely into the base.

Operation: First Time Use

Before first use, the e-Lift™ must be activated.

  1. Connect the power supply and switch the power on.
  2. Wait 10 seconds.
  3. The green light on the power supply will flash twice, indicating the e Lift™ has been activated and paired.

This activation is only required the first time the e Lift™ is powered on.

Important:  Fully charge the e Lift™ before first use for optimum battery performance


Charging the Battery

  • Connect the supplied charger to the e Lift™.
  • Plug the charger into a power outlet.
  • Allow approximately 6 hours for a full charge.

Tip: The e Lift™ can be used while connected to the charger.

FAQs & Troubleshooting

 

A full charge takes approximately 6 hours.

Yes. The e Lift™ can be operated while connected to the charger.
Depending on usage, the e Lift™ can operate for up to 3 weeks on a full charge.
The e Lift™ will sound an audible alert while in use:

  • 15% battery – 2 beeps
  • 10% battery – 3 beeps
  • 5% battery – Continuous buzzer

When connected to the charger, the e Lift™ will sound 1 beep.

The LED light on the foot control will illuminate.
The foot control uses 2 × AAA batteries.


Cleaning & Care

Keep your Comfortel e Lift™ clean by following these simple care instructions.

Cleaning

  • Wipe with a soft cloth dampened with warm water.
  • Dry with a clean, soft cloth.
  • Do not allow excess water to enter the unit.

Do Not Use

  • Boiling water
  • Alcohol or solvent based cleaners
  • Acetone
  • Bleach
  • Abrasive cleaners or steel wool
  • Furniture polish

Important: Always disconnect the charger before cleaning.

Maintenance

  • Fully charge the battery before first use.
  • Recharge the e Lift™ when the low battery alert sounds.
  • Check all mounting screws regularly and tighten if required.
  • Inspect the power supply and cables for damage before use.
  • Replace the foot control batteries (2 × AAA) when the LED indicator illuminates.

Important: There are no user serviceable parts inside the e Lift™. Contact Comfortel if servicing is required.


Safety Instructions

  • Read and keep these instructions for future reference.
  • Use the e Lift™ only for its intended purpose.
  • Do not use attachments not supplied or approved by Comfortel.
  • For indoor use only.
  • Do not use outdoors or on wet surfaces.
  • Keep the power cord and charger free from damage.
  • Use only the supplied charger and power cable.
  • Do not use an extension cord.
  • Do not operate if the power cord or plug is damaged.
  • If the power cable is damaged, contact Comfortel for replacement.
  • Keep children away from the e Lift™ during operation.
  • Inspect the power cord and charger before each use.
  • Disconnect the charger before cleaning.
  • Do not attempt to disassemble or repair the e Lift™ yourself.
