How to check the suction on your Diamond Microdermabrasion Machine
Step by step guide on how to check the suction on your Diamond Microdermabrasion Machine
If you need to also replace the filters, you can purchase them here
Step 1. Check that the suction tube is firmly fixed to the silver connector on the side of the machine – if it is loose, suction will be affected
Step 2. Disconnect the suction tube from the point where it attaches to the side of the machine (at the silver connector). Turn on the machine and place your finger up against the silver connector – see if you can feel the suction working
If you can feel suction at the silver connection point , reconnect the suction tube to the silver connector point, then remove the handpiece wand and blue connector from the suction tube at the other end.
Turn the machine on and feel for suction at the open end of the tube. If none, check the suction tube for splits/damage.
Step 3: If you can’t feel the suction, change the wand.
Step 4: If there is still no suction, check/change the blue connector if spares are available.
Step 5: If the wand and blue connector have been changed (if possible)and there is still no suction, check/change the filter. Watch our Cleaning & Maintenance video for further instructions
Step 5 Continued: If there is still no suction, check the secondary filter jar on the opposite side of the machine. Check that it is screwed on firmly and is intact.
