How to adjust the gas strut on your Lara or Naomi Reclining Chair
Step by step guide on how to adjust the gas strut on your Lara or Naomi Reclining Chair

TOOLS REQUIRED:
- 17mm Spanner
- Blanket or Sheet (to lay the chair on)
Step 1: Lay the chair on its side to access to gas strut.
Step 2: Loosen the nut using a 17mm Spanner.
Step 3: Using a 17mm Spanner, turn anticlockwise to remove the bolt at the rear of the gas strut as pictured below.
Step 4: Turn the gas strut anticlockwise to adjust the activator. The activator should not be touching the activator plate and there should be approximately a 2mm gap.
Step 5: Tighten the nut with a 17mm spanner by turning clockwise. The nut should have approximately a 2mm gap at the end of the thread.
Step 6: Reinstall the bolt.
